Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Golden Square Healthcare Limited

Financial Year: 2026/2027

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Golden Square Healthcare Limited (“the Company”) has taken, and continues to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

1. Organisational Structure and Business

Golden Square Healthcare Limited is a UK-based healthcare provider delivering services within the health and social care sector. We are committed to conducting all aspects of our business ethically, transparently, and with integrity, and we expect the same standards from all those with whom we do business.

2. Our Commitment

We recognise that modern slavery, forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking are serious global issues that can occur in any sector. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains may include, but are not limited to:

Healthcare staffing and recruitment services

Medical equipment and consumables suppliers

Pharmaceutical and laboratory suppliers

Facilities management, cleaning, and support services

IT and administrative service providers

We expect all suppliers and contractors to comply with applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015 where applicable.

4. Policies Relevant to Modern Slavery

We operate the following policies that support our approach to preventing modern slavery:

Safeguarding Policy

Whistleblowing Policy

Recruitment and Selection Policy

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy

Code of Conduct / Ethical Standards Policy

These policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and provide mechanisms for reporting concerns.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Management

We take a risk-based approach to identifying and addressing modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chains. Our due diligence processes include:

Supplier onboarding checks and approval processes

Requirement for suppliers to confirm compliance with relevant legislation

Monitoring of agency and labour providers used in staffing

Escalation procedures for any suspected non-compliance

Where higher-risk suppliers are identified, we seek additional assurances regarding labour practices and ethical standards.

6. Risk Areas

We recognise that certain areas of our supply chain may present higher risks, particularly:

Temporary labour and recruitment agencies

Overseas manufacturing of medical supplies

Cleaning, catering, and facilities support services

We are committed to working with suppliers to mitigate these risks.

7. Training and Awareness

We aim to ensure that relevant staff understand the risks of modern slavery and how to respond appropriately. Awareness is promoted through:

Induction training for new staff

Safeguarding and compliance training

Guidance for managers involved in procurement and recruitment

8. Reporting Concerns

We encourage all employees, workers, and suppliers to report any concerns relating to modern slavery or unethical behaviour. Concerns can be raised confidentially through our Whistleblowing Policy without fear of retaliation.

9. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continually improving our processes to identify, prevent, and address modern slavery risks. This includes reviewing our policies, strengthening supplier due diligence, and enhancing staff awareness.

10. Approval

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Golden Square Healthcare Limited and will be reviewed and updated annually.
